Zhongshan Bridge
Zhongshan Bridge is a cross-sea bridge connecting Wanqingsha Town, Nansha District, Guangzhou City and Nanlang Subdistrict, Zhongshan City in Guangdong Province, China. Spanning the Hengmen East Waterway, it is an integral part of the bridge section of the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Corridor and also a key component of the Shenzhen-Cenxi Expressway (National Expressway G2518). The main bridge adopts a span arrangement of (110+185+580+185+110) meters and is a two-pylon double-cable-plane steel box girder cable-stayed bridge.
The bridge was completed and opened to traffic in June 2024, with 96 sets of stay cable viscous dampers applied.
